There is nothing quite like the satisfying tink of an achievement unlocking, especially when it involves an absolutely massive explosion.

If you’ve been hunting for the Blast Radius achievement in Minecraft Dungeons, you know it requires a little bit of planning, a whole lot of enemies, and one perfectly placed block of TNT. After a few botched attempts (and accidentally blowing myself up more than once), I finally pulled it off!

How to Replicate the Boom 💥

Getting 10 mobs to cooperate for a group photo is tough, but getting them to group up for a TNT blast is actually pretty simple if you know where to look. Here is the strategy I used to clear this one out:

  • The Perfect Location: Head to Creeper Woods or Soggy Swamp on a lower difficulty setting. You want plenty of weak mobs (like zombies or vindicators) that won’t survive a single blast.

  • The Setup: Run past the enemies to get a massive horde aggroed and chasing you. Don’t fight back yet—just let them bundle up into one giant angry mob.

  • The Artifacts (Optional but Helpful): Using a Wind Horn or Fishing Rod can help pull enemies into a tighter cluster, though a classic “run in circles until they herd together” tactic works just fine.

  • The Drop: Grab your TNT, throw it right into the center of the crowd, and enjoy the fireworks.

Boom. Achievement Unlocked. 🏆

Watching that horde completely disintegrate in a flash of white smoke is incredibly satisfying. If you’re struggling to get the timing down, just lower the mission difficulty—it makes the mobs slower, weaker, and much easier to round
