When you first boot up Euro Fishing, you realize very quickly that this isn’t an arcade game. You couldn’t just throw a line out and instantly get a bite.
In 2020, learning the mechanics meant spending ten minutes in the tutorial trying to master the Total Cast Control system. Holding down the Xbox trigger, timing your stick flick perfectly, and trying not to cast your rig directly into a tree branch on the opposite bank was a rite of passage.
You set your rod pod, cast out three lines with basic bread or boilies, turned up your bite alarms, and sat back in your chair.
