That is the exact energy of this absolutely ridiculous Steep gameplay clip captured on Xbox. If you think you’ve seen close calls, brace yourself—because this last-second wingsuit victory redefines the phrase “cutting it close.”
The Drop: A Line with Zero Margin for Error
The run starts like any standard high-stakes wingsuit challenge in Steep. The player drops off a massive cliffside, immediately tucking into a steep dive to build up maximum velocity. For the first half of the run, it’s a masterclass in threading the needle. They are skimming inches above the jagged rocks of the Alps, picking up those crucial proximity points.
But Steep is a game that punishes greed. One slight twitch of the Xbox thumbstick, and you’re nothing but a human ragdoll bouncing down a glacier.
The Disaster and The Recovery

Instead of panicking, this absolute legend holds their ground. They manage to stabilize the wingsuit just feet above a flat snow plateau, preserving what little momentum they have left.
The Final Second: A Literal Pixel’s Breadth
As the final checkpoint ring comes into view, the timer is bleeding out. The gold medal ghost is pulling ahead.
In a desperate, beautiful, and completely unhinged final move, the player executes a hard dive straight toward the deck, pulling up at the absolute last possible millisecond.
